I keep on saying that I am a visual (graphic) designer and yet I never post anything that I do for my job so here is something I did for a local car dealer ship. I only wish that i could have found a different Santa and sleigh.

I have to say I did a lot of this one on the computer and I am really satisfied with this one.

I have began to realize that where I work is fairly laid back on Friday’s. So instead of posting art that I have been working on I am now going to post either work in progress or something really cool. Granted it will be art and design related and possibly faith related ( although I do not think I can divorce faith from even life ) but I hope that you enjoy this so for the fist Flippant Fridays I will post my very own home made Desktop Back ground. Click the image then right click file save as (as if you didn’t know that).

Also you know what would be cool is if you post pictures on your own blog of you and your computer with this back ground include your smiling faces and wala I will announce a winner and promote your blog here on my blog.

This is a little preview of a project I have in the works

Have a great day and I want to here any experiences that you have had with mullets. I will tell mine. In high school I wanted to be cool s I started to grow my hair out and I was like yeah this is great. One of my friends took a picture of me and I looked at it (keep in mind it was like months my hair has been grown long ) much to my horror it was not a long wavy artistic long hair but a long wavy artistic mullet. I cut it and decided to try again only to receive the same out come (imagine that) of which I declared why didn’t any one tell me! The answer we thought you wanted a mullet.

I showed you mine now you show me yours.

This one is a poem sent to me by artghost Check out the art over on that blog and I hope that you enjoy the typographic treat meant on this poem Please tell me what you think and put any poem that you would like to see interpreted typographically in the comments. Also I do comic strips based on a subject that you provide so come one come all and see your suggestions brought to life.

Interesting person Ron Paul. He quite possibly could get my vote however I can’t think of another person out there right now that I would vote for. Oh well best not to mix spirituality and politics but to allow spirituality to dictate the choice.

No illustration or typography or any thing just a simple I love you. I have been reading funky winkerbean and I caught up on the happenings today. Well one of the characters dies of breast cancer. I have to say that this got me thinking that what if my very special woman died of anything. I have to say that I am so very lucky to have my Nikki in my life. She is fiery and beautiful, her character is that of precious stones and her love for me is wildly genuine. I love her from sun up to sun down even though I don’t always show it and even sometimes we fight. She makes my breath worth the energy it takes to breath it in and makes my heart soft to the gentle whispers of Christ. She adorns my life with a reef of sweet smelling flower that will never wither and her gentle sighs as she sleeps sound of the blessings she will be giving in the morning until she falls asleep again. I would die for her. So here is to you oh sweet lover and wife may you be blessed to day and strengthend for I can not bear the thought of even haveing to go a secound with out you in the world.
